Man this days seems to have just been dragged along by an ox. am- 6 miles hood loop x2. Foot bruise still hurt on impact. Ignored it since it was slightly better than yesterdays pain. Parts of this run were nice. Didn't mind running in the cold this morning. pm- 10 miles soccer complex. While monotonous this run is usually varied. Pace was slowest around 3-4 miles. I didn't get a good cooldown this morning and that resulted in pooling of lactic acid and a crappy first few miles tonight. I felt like I was jogging/walking those first few miles. After 4 I started feeling good and a short time later had found my usual stride. Just kept going- keeping track of miles by how many times I crossed the black pavement line. I actually ran back to my car and had just over 9 miles, so I ran around the parking lot for an even 10. That was fun since it's mostly flat there and I did a few accelerations that felt pretty nice. Foot hurt the first few and around the last mile, inbetween it didn't bother me.
